I am a food lover and home cook, and The Quarter Life Cook is my blog – a collection of recipes – that I hope to share with you.

When I first started full-time work, I was a twenty-something year old young professional living out of home, working in a big shiny firm, and despite my best efforts I found it incredibly difficult to control my eating habits. I eventually got myself organised, and into a little routine; homemade lunches, pre-planned meals, using my freezer properly, etc.

Today, I am still a twenty-something year old young professional working in a big shiny firm, EXCEPT I have managed to find a way to eat healthy, proper meals while still maintaining a busy lifestyle.

I am a lover of all things food-related (trust me, my favourite channel is Lifestyle Food and my apartment is full of cookbooks). I do not believe in cutting out entire food groups (I love bread too much) unless of course you have a legitimate health reason to do so; however I do believe in having all things in moderation, as I hope my recipes demonstrate.

I am very much focused on simple, fuss-free meals that are jam-packed with flavour.
